I have a prebuilt HP Pavilion p7-1227c that was sitting around, so two years back I decided to turn it into a network storage location/server solution.
I was cleaning it up today and performing some general maintenance and decided to try and install a grapgics card (I had a gtx 670 rolling around; ik spaceage technology). I went out and bought a new PSU (the one I had did not have connections for PCIE) and installed the new PSU and the GPU
Well when I booted up the device, all the fans spin, including the GPU, but I jave no display out.
As part of my troubleshooting I uninstalled the GPU I get a display output out again, but when I reinstall it, no output from either the GPU or Mobo. Could the GPU be bad? What other things could be causing this?
