#5800x idle temperatures

I'm confused about my CPU temperatures
Running a 5800x in eco mode in a test bench with a downdraft cooler with the fan at 100%
Idles at about 50C/30W
Prime95 at about 61C/90W

Why is it idling at so high a temperature or is that normal?

Attached a screenshot, you can see where I started p95.

temp wise it's like I'm not even running p95 at all.

what cooler do you have

your cpu's fan curve might be configured for silence and then ramp up under load, making a relatively high idle temp and a low load temp

if you look at the bottom graph the fan is running at 100% the entire time
