It might be EQ interference, any high voltage stuff near you or stuff like that, example I had a retainer cleaner that used blue light and would destroy the quality of the audio

I have the same problem when using wired headphones while on my laptop. I'm assuming that in my case it's caused by electrical interference from the laptop itself.
