Old Steam Game Crashes When I Click Offscreen?

Overlord: Raising Hell REFUSES to behave correctly. I have a triple monitor setup, anytime I click outside of the game, the game window minimizes and will sometimes crash if i don't open it soon enough. I've tried to force the game to launch in both windowed and borderless modes through Steam's Launch Options but the problem persists. Altogether, it isn't a HUGE issue but it's pretty annoying so I'm trying to find a fix
