Hello all, I just ran into an issue where my OLED monitor (LG 48GQ900-B) has lag and screen tearing straight down the middle of it. It initially started when I enabled HDR, and it was actually more on the left third, but then moved to the middle when I disabled HDR.
I have a 3070ti and am using Windows 10. I'm not sure if you need anymore info than that but I can share full system specs if needed.

I tried setting the frame rate to 60 instead of 120. I tried G-Sync on and off. I tried DDU, twice and have a fresh NVidia Studio Driver installed. I tried the monitor's Pixel Cleaning & Image Cleaning each. I'm not sure what's causing this or how to fix it.

It's a really expensive monitor that I got over a year ago so~~ I doubt warranty is on the table (I'll check)~~ warranty is no longer available according to the pamphlet that came with it, so if I can fix it myself I would love to. Any thoughts, questions, advice you can offer?

Welp, I guess I solved it myself (thanks me). It apparently was the super expensive high quality (or so I thought) HDMI cable that I've been using for a long time now. I guess it's getting old and has been bent or nudged or whatever one too many times.

Or it could be that the HDMI port on my display is getting bad, but I don't care to look for another HDMI cable to test that.

I swapped to a display port cable, checked to be sure it can do 4k120 with G-Sync (it can) and we're good to go.

The HDMI cable must not be that bad because I'm using it on another monitor with no issues so far.
