Hello everyone,
I was playing some games and kept experiencing random ping spikes that make the game much more difficult to play. These ping spikes completely freeze everything for a solid second and then go away. (Ping test performed below)
In the test you can clearly see a massive ping jump suddenly. And this is shown in almost every time a new test is completed. I have tried to diagnose if this was my usb Wi-Fi adapter or not by using my phone using USB-C to tether to my PC. This almost completely removed the ping spikes. So I went ahead and ordered a new adapter since it was already starting to turn off randomly.
Anyways I got my new USB Wi-Fi adapter and I still have the exact same issue. I tested this using my gaming laptop that I have performing a ping test & played the same game and had no issues so there are no issues with my Wi-Fi.
I'm at a loss with this one and have no idea what to do. If anyone has some tips I would be grateful for them.
