You’re saying it’s bootlooping?

unique fulcrum
#

Ofc, bc the cpu and ram light are both on

#

What are your specs?

#

Ram and motherboard compatible?

#

Oh

#

What happened to stop it

#

Did you reinstall windows?

#

What psu do you have

silver juniper
#

most common issue I see is that the RAM is not fully seated in the DIMM slots

#

push your RAM in slightly harder than you think is enough

unique fulcrum
#

Usually there are 2 clicks

silver juniper
#

uninstall and reinstall everything

#

easiest to hardest

#

start with unplugging and replugging stuff

#

then reinstall CPU if still not working

unique fulcrum
#

Make sure the cooler is installed correctly

silver juniper
#

if you have other parts lying around after all that, try them see if they work

#

Uneven mounting can cause issues

#

So it’s booted before right? How long was it up

#

So you haven’t even touched windows yet huh

#

Guessing you noticed the temps were sky high

#

So you went to adjust the cpu fan

#

So it didn’t shut down on it own

#

U panic shut it down I assume

#

^ not a issue just wondering

#

Not sure if you have done it yet but I would do a cmos reset

#

Should a visible battery if not it’s probably under the gpu

#

It’s usually just a 15 second thing

#

Some people say a minute

#

Never had a issue with just a few seconds though

#

Have you tried a boot then switch with the ram

#

Till all 4 slots have been tried

#

And all ram

#

Let’s try

#

All ram the same way

#

The board might have messed up if they doesn’t work

#

Yup definitely

#

That’s usually my first high probability

#

Not sure why it did if it did though

#

How is your cpu connector looking if you can show us

#

Like this

#

How about the psu end

#

I mean the side that goes to the psu

#

Unless it’s non modular

#

This

#

Well we should be doing this when you are in front of the equipment

#

I’ve never seen a cpu just die like that

#

That’s why I usually just go with the motherboard since it’s pretty frequent

#

But we will see when you are home if something else is at play

#

Parts will always look fine

weary veldt
#

Ofc the cpu is going to be hot

#

That doesn't mean anything at all

#

Very normal

weary veldt
#

I’d just try a new board

#

Especially since ur still within return period

weary veldt
#

I’m about 94% positive it’s not
