i used cc cleaner to clear internet cache and it was trying to delete my history as well ( even though it wasnt selected) but i can still see the entire chrome history under chrome://history/ .. the only problem is that neither in the history search box OR in the address bar of chrome , my past searches are showing up

i know that but i mean for example in the past i visited websites like pluginboutique.com . and naturally once it was in my search history , the website would show up in my address bar as soon as i typed in a few letters of the name. and now after this incident it doesnt do that anymore
