I have my first gaming laptop after many years and new to Nvidia Optimus. My computer is an Asus Zypheris G16 with an Nvidia 4060 and an i7 13620H.
I frequently move from my desk which I use an external display and my device plugged into power, everything is fine here and it appears the HDMI is hooked up to the DGPU directly, which I don't have a problem with. However, when I unplug everything to take to another room, all the apps that were using the DGPU are still using the DGPU and it sucks my battery life. How do I get the apps to go back to using the iGPU like they would have been using priror to me hoohing it up to my external display and power?
