I'm in the US and have a budget of around $500 for my first PC minus SSD and RAM (already have those), I'm trying to put together a list of other parts and this is what I have come up with so far. looks like a good build for around that price. the one thing i will warn about going with that cpu is the stock heatsink that comes with the 12100f isnt the best. So it would be another 20ish to get a better one.

I tell everyone to at least try the stock cooler

If it works, great, you didn’t have to spend $20 on a cooler. If not, well, at least you tried it

thats fair. i just like to warn people about is as i have had problems in the past due to their mounting.

I plan to put another cooler on the cpu in the near future, but I don’t believe I will be performing any tasks or playing any games that would push the cpu to the point of overheating with the stock cooler

I'm seeing the 13100f for only $6 more, should I look at buying that instead?
