hey people
ive got a fun little computer lying around thats running 8gb (2 4gig sticks) of ddr3 ram, but that aint enough.. ive only got 2 ddr3 slots on my mobo and im split on wether i should get one 8 gig stick and go up to 12 or if i should go all out and get 2 8 gig sticks. thanks

i5 4460
gt1030 2gb gddr5
corsair vs450
2x 4gb sticks of ddr3 ram

DDR3 is pretty cheap on the secondhand market, keep in mind you can't use server/ECC/registered memory

for this stuff, anyway

by going with 16, all 16GB will be running dual channel, which is good for performance. No online markets, etc?

like ~$20USD is about the fair value for 16gb ddr3 around here
