May have been because that was my usb it checked, but if not how do I solve?

#

Definitely not my usb drive as it’s been disconnected and I’m back in command prompt. Tried a couple other commands and it comes up with that or “cannot open volume for direct access”

It’s because you have that “use my USB to speed up my computer” option checked

#

Uncheck it, eject the USB & remount it & it’ll be fine

I tried it without the usb in too and it came up same issue, but how do you know that option even checked I didn’t even know it existed lol

#

Is there something there I’m missing that tells me?

Sorry I misunderstood I thought you meant you were scanning your USB

Do /F /R

It’ll ask you to run it on reboot
