I bought a lil acer laptop cheap cuz the battery wouldn't charge but the laptop would turn on. So I opened the laptop up disconnected the battery put it back in and still no.
So I have replaced the battery and it works.
But now I have the issues of:
- It not detecting the battery (so I have no idea what % it is at)
- After its shutdown it will still hum until I disconnect the battery
For issue 1. I have seen online to power off, disconnect ac power then disconnect battrery hold power button for 10 sec and boot. But not fixed
For issue 2. Fast boot was on so I turned it off, still not fixed. I also checked bios options and ensured no reason for it to wake on usb.
