Work laptop and PC peripherals

I'm stuck!

I have a PC with two monitors on my desk which I use most nights. I also have a work laptop that I would like to use on the two monitors and the same peripherals as my PC, however I need to be fairly remote with my laptop. Is there a switch box that I could use to enable a swift transition between laptop on the screen/peripherals and my Pc whilst keeping the cable changes to a minimum?

you need a KVM. unfortunately, they can get pretty pricey

if your monitors have multiple inputs, you could connect a thunderbolt dock to your laptop and manually switch the inputs between laptop and desktop. the keyboard and mouse would just require a usb switcher
