chkntfs /x C:
All you need to do is run this in command prompt (as administrator)
This’ll stop windows from checking your disk at every moment your computer starts up. Depending on how many drives you have, you may need to add more than just “C:”. Keep in mind, disabling checks can cause corruption without notice.
