When having chrome open in the back with GPU acceleration off and running SF6 I got a error DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED, restarting PC fixed it and now after updating my drivers this happened with chrome open and launching Star Wars, restarting also fixed it. Did the GPU drivers crash or is it something else?

Restarting

Which graphics card is this?

#

Like is it RTX4060, RX460 or GTX460?

#

Eitherway it looks like an issue with the graphics card itself.

#

Try running DDU first and then doing a fresh install of drivers.

#

If the issue is still there, RMA the graphics card if it still has warranty left.

MSI RTX 4060

#

I upgraded from a GTX 1660 OC by gigabyte to this

#

I rolled back the drivers to what I had before when the DXGI happened

Cool, run DDU and do a fresh install of drivers.

Does it matter if I've had this GPU for 2 months and this just barely happened?

Third time saying this, run DDU and do a fresh install of drivers.

#

That will rule out driver side of things, then we're looking at a hardware issue.

#

If it keeps doing it, install your old graphics card back and see if the issue disappears.

#

If it does, it means the graphics card is at fault and you need to RMA it.
