Normally windows will shutdown a second after I click shutdown, and will take 3-40 seconds to shutdown. (Fast startup is disabled) (Windows 10 22H2) (SSD)
However, sometimes it will take 90 seconds before it will start to shutdown, and then it appears to get stuck on the “shutting down screen”, and won’t turn off unless I press and hold the power button.
This issue seems to be correlated with compiling code with a MSYS2 Mingw64 terminal. Along with disabling/enabling “Ethernet 2” in the network adapter menu in control panel. (Although they don’t cause this to happen every time)
Why does this happen, and how can I fix it?
