So I was just watching a video when out of nowhere half my screen just fades to black. I have tried switching DisplayPort for a HDMI cable (same outcome screen still fading to black). I was just wondering if there is anything I can do, like maybe switching the LEDs?

Yeah it looks like the backlight went poof, unfortunately there's nothing much you can do except RMA the monitor if it even has warranty left on it.
