Hi all!

I am looking to do some updates on my main rig, and would like some guidance on best bang for the buck to eek more performance out of my current setup without going all in on a full new build. This is a PC that was originally built in 2019 and then a few parts added in 2020 (I got gifted the 3090 on release week)

Current specs;

AORUS Master x570
Ryzen 9 3900x
ASUS TUFF RTX 3090
32GB Corsair DDR4 3200 (8GB x 4)
WD SN850 Black NVME 2TB
Cooler Master AIO 240mm
Corsair 850W PS
Win 11 Pro
Corsair Mid ATX case
Predator 27" 1440p monitor

Mainly play the following;

COD/Warzone
Battlefield 2042/V/1
Starfield
Cyberpunk

Generally settings cranked for RPG's, Mid settings for competitive games targeting 144hz.

Looking to do several updates, budget around $600-1000 CAD over the coming months. Trying to keep what I can of the setup to carry over for the next few years until I do my next from scratch build.

Cheers!

I’d get a 5800x3d

if you have enough money, get an am5 board

if you don’t then just get the 5800x3d
