So what you should be able to do is to go into the startup repair mode when you reset the comp 3 times during startup, it's a windows thing that's automatic

When windows fails to start 3 times, it goes into the repair menu

then you get options, and go troubleshoot

and something like that, you can try startup repair first

Is it an Acer laptop?

Acer might have some custom software, and I don't know how that works

Still, 3 resets while it's booting up should lead you to the windows repair menu

umm, does your laptop have a reset switch, or just a power button?

the idea is, that you interrupt the windows loading 3 times in a row, so power button works I guess if it turns the laptop off in the middle of loading

so the 4th time it loads, it should go into the repair menu
