why does my headset keep disconnecting and reconnecting if a certain sound plays
if im in a Voice Chat and in a game
it disconnects and reconnects after a sound plays

what is this 'certain sound' ? I'm thinking you're hearing the standard windows notification sound for a device that connected
is this headset wireless, bluetooth maybe?

no its not bluetooth, also about the sound
well about the "certain sound" lets say, i play fortnite and i shoot, my headset disconnects and reconnects pretty fast, same with if i am in a game and in a voice chat, if the person talks my headset disconnects and reconnects pretty fast

still sounds like the audio driver resets or something, for some reason, and you hear the reconnection sound

hard to diagnose why it does that, can't suggest much except to reinstall your audio drivers
I don't think it's a headset issue per se, seems like a general audio issue, you'd get the same issue with speakers I think

it works fine if i listen to music, but if i play games and talk to people it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting

It might be semi-broken then, and the microphone is connecting and reconnecting (that's where the windows reconnect sound comes from) for no apparent reason, it's like if you move your head slightly it connects and disconnects
works fine for audio playback like you said

is there a way i can fix it? i dont have the receipt from the store anymore..

hmm, not sure if you can fix it, but it should be within warranty, at least if you're in the EU it's 2 years minimum

recepit shouldn't be a problem, if you paid with credit card the store still has your purchase info
