How experienced are you with networking and linux?

So, I am not familiar with filecloud, what is it based on? (so what does it use, is it php?)

And are you sure you want to use FileCloud and not NextCloud?

Filecloud is installed locally on a VM or dedicated machine?

Also if the IP starts with 192.168.XXX.XXX or 10.220.XXX.XXX you can just share it, it’s easier

Because those are local IPs

Well depends on how much you want to put on NextCloud

Nextcloud and Ubuntu (as I have set it up on a VM) is about 15GB (but that's stripped Ubuntu Server)

Yeah you can get way under 30GB

What I would also suggest is putting NextCloud behind a reverse proxy if you plan to be able to access it externally

Essentially what a reverse proxy does (well what you need to know for now, anyway) is allow you to more easily manage ssl certificates and therefore enable HTTPS on your NextCloud

Additionally, if you plan to use Collabora Office (so essentially Microsoft Office Online, but better), you almost need to have one
