i went to 192.168.1.1 and it’s def my routers portal but i put in the network name for username and the wifi password for password and it says it’s invalid
i also tried admin admin cuz that’s what it said on the bottom of the router but same issue.
any ideas?

Your wifi password is almost certainly separate from your routers login password.
Sometimes you set it when you first configure the router. If you think it's default, you could google the make/model for the factory default credentials.
If that doesn't work, you probably need to factory reset the router and start over.
