Hello!

I've run into a weird issue that I haven't run into until recently. I recently got a new mic (HyperX Quadcast) and it works great normally. I am able to use discord normally and play games with it no problem. HOWEVER, as soon as I try to screen share on discord while in a chat, the mic will suddenly start to disconnect and then reconnect continually. The mic is still receiving power as I can see the RGB lighting on, but I can hear the disconnect and reconnect sound as it keeps reconnecting. It'll do it frequently when first screen sharing but then settle to disconnecting and reconnecting once every five minutes or so. I have it set as my input device in the discord settings and I have it as my default device in windows. I have also tried moving it from a USB hub to being plugged in directly to the motherboard but still having the same issue.

With my previous mic I wasn't running into this issue so I am not sure what is going on and how to fix it.

If anyone has a solution to this I would greatly appreciate it.

P.S. side issue that I have apparently had for awhile:
my friends have complained that my mic will randomly cutout sometimes when I speak. This has been an ongoing issue since my last mic and is probably just a setting I need to change, but not sure what it is. My friends say that I would be speaking normally and they can hear me just fine, but sometimes I just cut out entirely and not sure why. Everytime it happens I dont think I'm changing anything in the way I am speaking.
If anyone has some idea as to what's causing this I would appreciate some insight. This problem is a bit more easier to live with as it doesn't happen too often but it is a pain point when playing/talking to other people.

Thank you for the time to read about my pains and hopefully someone out there has some helpful tips for me

is there a fix to this? Is it a bandwith issue or a bitrate issue?
