Hey LTT Community, im currently building a budget gaming pc. I bought a HP Compaq Elite 8300 CMT, a new PSU, an ssd and a used GPU. I later realized that the Psu on HP is proprietary, so i gone to AliExpress and ordered an adapter for my psu to work in the system. Unfortunately i didnt pay enough Attention and i only realized it after my GPU Arrived: my psu has 1x 6pin PCI-e cable but the gpu requires 2x 8pin cables. So i ordered an adapter for it.
My question: will i have any problems running this system stable?
PC Specs:
500 Watt PSU
Intel i7 3770
GTX 780 (the gpu i wanna install)
1tb HDD
500GB Sata Western Digital SSD
24GB Ram (3/4 DDR3 slots used)
External Bluetooth, Wifi and Speaker (connected via USB)
