Just wondering if I should update my bios. I'm on a somewhat old version and updating would update the AGESA version I'm on. Would this benefit me enough to risk anything going wrong with the update?

maybe if its amd more upgrade options to other newer gens but otherwisw theres no performance uplift

Yeah I'm on nearly the best of AM4 and wont be upgrading on this platform

So if wont improve any of the AMD overclocking features in the bios or anything?

I personally update my BIOS every now and then, but it won't give you any benefits, really.

That's usually what BIOS updates are about. Improved system stability, fixed vulnerabilities...

But you shouldn't expect it to suddenly make your PC overclock like crazy or anything like that.

Gotcha, that's what I think too except for the AGESA thing. I guess I need to look into it
