#Wont boot directly off M.2

I recently purchased a new M.2 drive and installed Windows on it. I successfully transferred most of my files and data from my old SATA SSD. However, I'm facing a boot priority issue with the M.2 drive, and I'm seeking some assistance to resolve it.

Currently, my boot priority is configured with the M.2 drive as the first option. However, when I try to boot up the computer, it shows a blinking cursor for a few seconds and doesn't boot from the M.2 drive. The second option in the boot order is the DVD tray, which is expected to show a similar experience since there's no CD present. Surprisingly, in the third spot, there's "UEFI: IP4 Intel(R) Ethernet Connection," which appears to scan for media and then displays "media found." I believe this is related to another computer on my network since it only occurs when the PC is connected to the router via Ethernet.

Now, interestingly: if I press the escape key during the "media found" message, the PC proceeds to boot into the Windows installation on the M.2 drive. However, I'd really like to avoid having to press escape every time I start my PC. Reinstalling Windows is not an ideal solution, as it would be quite a time-consuming chore.

I would greatly appreciate any help or suggestions on how to fix this boot priority issue and have the computer boot seamlessly from the M.2 drive as the first option.

Thank you all in advance.

Is the SATA SSD disconnected?

Yes

I actually have 2 HDD’s connected as well, but neither of them have a windows installation

Also I know the windows installation is on the M.2 because task manager marks it as the C: drive

Still no fix I’ve found. I can confirm it only boots after using the “IP4 Ethernet” thing. Taking it out of the boot order fails to boot into Windows.

Try unplugging all drives except the M.2
