Okay, I wonder if anyone can help. My second m.2 SSD has for some reason become write-protected. I've tried several things (listed below) but haven't solved it yet. I don't want to format the drives if it can be avoided. Please help.
P.s. this is on windows 10 btw
I have:
-Take out the SSD and reseated it.
-Swapped it with the other drive.
-Tried removing read only through the gui & cmd
-Tried changing security permitions with gui & cmd using icacls
-Tried taking ownership through gui & cmd takeown
-Tried the diskpart cmd but the read-only attribute is no and the current read-only state is yes and with the diskpart commands you can only change the read-only state
Any new ideas would be great.
Thanks
