#High Cpu low Gpu

Ooh my favorite!
What games?
What resolution are you playing at?
What are your graphics settings?
Is the 5% percentage while you’re actually in game or while you’re tabbed-out looking at task manager?
I got 2 moniters my gpu is actually higher when im out of the game but when i tab in it drops
i mainly play r6
graphics are performance so mostly low or turned off some turned on high
and 1980 x 1080
Typically this points to a CPU bottleneck.
In task manager, under the performance tab (where you see the line graphs) right click the CPU chart to make it per-core
I'm guessing there are a handful of cores that are peaking at 100%
Your GPU is being held back by your CPU and can't render any more frames because of it
so my gpu is to good for my cpu
For this specific game in your specific use case at this specific resolution, yes
It would be a different story if you were playing an RPG at 4K
so should i up the graphics
That may make things a bit more stable, yeah
Ultimately it depends less on the % usage and more of whether you're getting the FPS/fidelity you want
is there any other way of fixing it
There may be background tasks hogging up the CPU that are causing it to bottleneck even further
Go to task manger, go to Startup tab, sort by status, send a screenshot
