In what case? Located where? What's the ambient room temp?

Im at 55 so I think the issue is the same but I have less fans (1 intake in the front, 1 exhaust at the back), its cooled with stock cooler and room at at about 25°C

Still hits 100°C on games (bf2042)

When you've removed the AIO block in the past, was the thermal paste convering the entirety of the CPU IHS?

My 3600 with air cooler idles right now at 35 c ish so def something wrong, yes.

Have you checked what speed the pump in the AIO is running at?

"warm but not too hot" is very subjective.

For someone in Scandinavia that might be 23c while someone where it's hot that might be 28c.
