#Hard disk with OS isn't detected by PC

I have an old laptop and I already tried to install a bunch of OSes. I even installed Mint with my main PC but when I plugged the HDD it was detected in the BIOS but it didn't boot. Thx in advance

Elaborate on this.
Are you saying you installed Mint on the HDD while it was plugged into your PC, but now it won't boot when you plugged it into the laptop?

Installed mint with the HDD plugged to the main pc
Swapped the laptop HDD with the one with mint
Detected on the bios but didn't boot

When I tried to use any live USB it says something of 5 arguments instead of 4, but I doubt that should cause the PC to not boot
