Badlion Launch Issue after AMD GPU Driver Update

it used to work fine without could play in fullscreen i just couldnt go back to fullscreen once i exited it and now it cant even start the game anymore (minecraft)

most of the i had to to be able to do anything again

a couple of times it actually recoverd and then game me a amd error report thing

im not sure i can change that without being able to get into the game

im not using the official launcher

im using Badlion client

trying to figure that out rn

im gonna try just launching minecraft now

so launching it in fullscreen gets the same result

just launching doing nothing

how do i do that

im gonna try giving it 8gb or ram now

see if that changes anything

i have 32gb of ram

and about 20gb free

i could maybe try to contact microsoft about it

yea tho im still a little worried it could be my gpu since ive had a couple small issues recently that seemed to have gone away now

rx 5700 small artifacts here and there and 2 bsod's

did everything fresh still the same issue just not directly on launch

about a week ago when i updated to the latest gpu drivers tho i hadnt played minecraft for around 4 month prior to that

i had a windows reverted to a previos version of gpu drivers like a month and a half back but that got resolved by just installing the latest driver

well i appreciate the help at least this will warrant a swap of my boot drive then i guess

i guess i could try going back one driver version see if that does anything?

cause its 100% something gpu related

this is the amd window that makes me think its a gpu issue

something amd has found an issue and wants me to fill out a report

ive filled out like 3

currently doing so

installing it now

ive only used amd software for updating my amd drivers except for that one manual one 1.5 months back where windows fucked me over

it lets me start the game it just wont let me take screenshot which is what i need to go out of fullscreen for

and borderless windowed isnt a thing on mc last i recall

i can at least play until i do the windows reinstall

havent tried it yet

yup it seems to work

i havent done the full windows reinstall yet ill do that another time

but the borderless windowed mode will work for now
