Put together a rough parts list consisting of a 5600x, 32gb of ddr4 3600 cl16, mini itx b550 mobo, arctic liquid freeze 280mm, 970 evo plus 1tb, 3070, 750w gold+ psu in the johnsbo d31 mesh for £991 or £901 with a 3060i Cant be overly specific with prices since stock in the uk is kinda strange :9

any opinions on what could be done better? Should i have tried to go for 7000 series or maybe even gone down the intel route?

arctic liquid freeze 280mm?

#

You really don't need such a cooler for a 5600x

#

If it's cheap in UK then maybe it's an okay deal but i'd search for something cheaper

#

Also i think the 3070 is too powerful for an 5600x, and having a processor bottleneck isn't rly what u would want, but i'm not entirely sure on that part.

liquid freeze 280mm is only £70 when in stock so not all that expensive esp considering the 240mm is a meer £10 cheaper :9

#

as for bottlenecking im fairly certain that would only really be a minor bottleneck at 1080p no? so assuming hes running 1440 or even 4k and or running a tripple a game this shouldnt be a problem

yeah higher resolutions will use more gpu so it becomes a gpu bottleneck (which is preferable over cpu)
