i would like to know if i get a monitor if i would get all the settings in nvidia control panel. as in intel graphics command, i think im limited because i cannot create new resolutions sinply becausr “my laptop montior doesn’t support it”

Yeah, if you connect a monitor to a laptop, it will just be a normal pc, you will be unlocked😂
The only reason you cant set custome resolutions or something like that, bc your integrated igpu does the display for your laptop monitor, but if you connect an external monitor, your dedicated gpu will do the displaying to it, so, you will get all the settings like on a pc
And in that case, you can use your laptop monitor as a 2nd monitor
But in the 3d settings set your primary gpu to you dedicated gpu, and let the igpu just do the display for your laptop monitor
