Hi, thanks in advance for the help. I have 3 M2 NVME drives, and 2 SATA 8TB HDD.

I want to set up the 2 SATA HDD drives in RAID 1 mirror. I can do this by going to bios and enabling VMD RAID, then rebooting, and creating a RAID array selecting the 2 SATA HDDs.

The problem is that when VMD RAID option is enabled, all of the m2 NVME drives disappear from BIOS and my boot M2 NVME drive is not detected to boot from.

I do have the option of creating a RAID array from my m2 drives but I don’t want that. I only want to set up my 2 SATA HDDs in a RAID 1 configuration. Is this just not possible?

As I understand windows likely can’t boot or be installed without the RST drivers, but still it concerns me that the M2 drives aren’t even detected in BIOS under storage and can’t be selected as a boot device
