#Link speed is capped at 10 mbps

There was another guy on here not too long ago who had a similar problem and the culprit was the cable. If you didn’t do anything weird to settings or use some weird program then that’s probably the problem
Cause both your computer and the router/switch support multiple speeds and are auto sensing. So if you didn’t mess with them then they should automatically go to the highest speed
Well when did this start happening?
Why’re you wiped the whole computer?
Well I think it’s worth trying another cable if you have one. But if that’s kind of annoying to do for your setup try the network reset thing I mentioned first. Just go to settings and search network reset
new cable
Have you tried turning it off and on again?
That’s too bad. Well now check the cable. You can either switch it out for a new one or connect it to a different computer like a laptop or something. Either way would check it
we've said this over and over
it's $4. new cable.
you've provided enough information for us to know this becuase of the hardware link speed problems
what cable did you buy
probably trash
or yall damaged it
idk inspect it for physical damage
if you don't have another device to check the physical network speed
other than the PS4, like literally anything would be better like a laptop or sth
the ps4 doesn't just show you physical link speed but
if you run the built in speed test and get a number over 10, or over 100 you know gigabit link is working
so plug it in and try it. if the PS4 is capped at a low number, you know the problem isn't the PC. do that
like now
settings > network > test
seems like the ps4 is able to negotiate a gigabit link just fine
