I did a quick experiment and found that the RGB lighting stayed if I unplugged the ethernet cable... IT WORKED!!! I'm going to do more testing to verify the results. If that works, I'll see about setting a firewall rule that blocks internet access to Synapse.

I think I found the solution!!! I've only tested with the lock screen and sleep mode so far... I'll confirm later if it works with shut downs and restarts.

Razer is not known for having respect for user data. In this Windows Firewall tutorial, you will learn how to block outbound connections from Razer Synapse software.

The .exe files mentioned in the video were seen with network activity in Windows Resource Manager.

Update: This didn't work. I did however test to see if doing all the things to replicate the glitch with the ethernet cable unplugged. Turns out that synapse works fine when there's no internet connection! I'm going to comb through all the razer folders and set an outbound rule to block all outbound traffic on any razer exe I can find... Hope that works...

Ok...? I ran WiseDiskCleaner with the checkbox for razer checked and the lighting remained after repeating all the steps to replicate the glitch. I don't want to call this solved yet... Though, this is a good sign. If anything, I hope this will be useful to anyone else with the same issue. I'll let you know if the issue persists and if it's fixed by running the system cleaner utility.
