Seems like you can fix this by disabling bitlocker in the command prompt

I turned on Bitlocker on drive F:\ which has alot of important content in it.

Now when I try to unlock it the PC hangs. Only restart fixes this. I know the password, but the recover key is lost.

You should be able to navigate to the troubleshooting screen from that one. And from there you can use the command prompt

and enter the commands

The commands they say to use are "manage-bde -off C:" This command turns off bitlocker for the C drive, so it should end the bitlocker loop.
