And gpu idles at 43.

Don't feel comfortable tampering with internals as i'm worried i may break something.

My CPU will happily peg itself to 98c and GPU can get up to 70c

As long as both remain below 100c, everythings fine. Laptop batteries do not last long. Assuming it can keep the heat away from the battery, the only killer will be how many times you use the laptop.
my constant daily use has me kill batteries total size real quick
