getting this error for some reason, for context i used to dualtboot on this ssd on an old laptop, then i added this to my current laptop and formatted it, now it isnt allowing me to allocate the 50 gb i have extra

Though I will say if you're down to really needing that last 50GB, it's probably time to buy a bigger drive. The TeamGroup MP33 & MP34 are great budget Gen 3 drives and there are many great Gen 4 options I tend to default to the WD SN770 but look for sales if you go with the buy a bigger drive route.
