DDU the system in safe mode and re-install the nvidia drivers.

nah - black screens and crash to desktop is generally the driver having issues. just make sure to remove both sets of drivers before installing new ones. may have to start in safe mode a couple of times to get both sets removed.

I use HWinInfo

I tried running it during the good games and it has a hotspot of around 70 when under stress, and pushing to just under 82 higher stress

all vram seems to be heated well
