#CPU or GPU?

also, I don't know how well a 5900x would run on a b550 ds3h vrms
well, a b550 is fine too, just maybe not the ds3h
blender doesn't do so great on amd gpus iirc
So my experience w/ the 5600 is awesome
I have had no issues with it ever
And I have never thought to get a new one
But, I replaced my first gpu on my pc almost immediately
A 6 core cpu will work fine for almost everything game wise
But gpus are a good idea to have good ones, but a 3060 already is pretty good
So maybe hold on to your money for a better mb?
A high tier mb is rlly good to have
Meh. But if you already plan to buy a new cpu and motherboard, as well as $150 on 64gb ram, just go to am5 platform imho
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/kVCT8r like this maybe. Yes the motherboard is fine. You could also use a different cooler, if you already have a good one. (Enable PBO and Curve Optimizer and the 7700 performs like a 7700x)
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7700
Or a 6700xt for $320 but it’s dual fan, a 6700xt for $350 triple fan, or 6750xt for $380 triple fan, or a used 6700xt for $250-$300
Part List - 2 x Radeon RX 6700 XT, Radeon RX 6750 XT
Although 6700xt to a 6750xt is not a big performance jump. Or you could find a used 6800 or 6800xt
