also make sure no hair is on the mouse?
as in clean the sensor
other as that, only happens in valorant? in just that match?
@flat vapor
thanks for posting 🙂 let me know, and if you can add more information?
i have restarted my pc
no hair is on the mouse
It happened beforehand a month or so ago
i thought it was in game only but it’s also on my desktop
do you use the same mouse?
or same surface? when gaming?
on both laptop / desktop
do you got a mouse mat?
desktop surfaces without mat can react sometimes pretty weird
i have an artisan mousepad
and it’s worked perfectly i’ve tried other surfaces i know my mouse doesn’t stutter on and same deal
well you could decrease the mouse polling rate?
and see if that improves the stuttering?
if your mouse polls too much it can be reacting weird inside the game 🤔 and even just keep the processor busy with just polling your mouse
i decreased from 1000 to 500 and same deal
it affects framerate aswell at times which i find really weird
the stuttering?
yes
what temps do you have on CPU / GPU when its happening?
CPU usage full? (one core full?) Memory usage full?
any other programs runnning?
both sitting around 50-60c
cpu usage and ram usage around 70% which is normal under load
but one core?
for example one core is here busy rendering my youtube and the rest is basically sleepping
what program would let me see
taskmgr
2nd mouse button on it
and check logical cores
"change graph to " -> logical processors.
Overal utilisations says nothing 😦
i reinstalled mouse drivers (ones in device manager) so ill lyk if anything has changed
same shit
could it be related to a virus potentially
because my vanguard just crashed
i did a quick scan on defender and it found nothing
do a thorough scan.
more than 0
yeah those should be removed
im not sure
you have to do it manually ok
files were removed
still stuttering though
i dont know what else to do
msconfig - > Services -> hide all microsoft services
uncheck what you dont need and keep it clean
same with startup on tasskmgr , remove what you do not need
theres time where it is fine
im finding its stuttering when im testing it in games
and then it stutters for a couple mins after closing
and then its good again
i just blew the sensor out with compressed air and nothing still
im just mass uninstalling shit i dont need atm
i give up
msconfig will take way too long and i doubt it will do anything
i have no idea what else to do
msconfig -> Services -> check all microsoft services. checkbox on and just hide all.
