So I have bought a 4TB SSD(SN850X) for my new laptop. However, the new laptop needs to be returned as it has issues. (The SSD itself works fine.)

I tried putting the 4TB SSD into my old Laptop. (G752VS) and when I boot the machine, it attempts to post, then instantly turns off. It then loops over and over, getting nowhere.

Eventually it attempts a Recovery Repair, but then it instantly turns off again, pretty much boot looping every 10 seconds.

Why is this happening?

some laptop m.2 slots are keyed for sata and pcie but only support sata

do u see any labeling on the mobo for sata or pcie?

this is G752VY's mobo and it's pcie only not sure if the G752VS is different
