Ok, so... be gentle. Hah~
This is my Acer Nitro 5- I think the 2020 or 2019 edition? AN515 - 54? Whichever that was.
-Added a stick of 8 gb of ram bringing it up to 16 gigs.
-A logitech G600 which is about to be retired on acount of the worn out skates and failing scroll sensor.
-An "E-YOOSO" super scholar z-88 with gateron blue switches. It's been awesome for my first mechanical board!
-And using my Nexdock touch as my secondary screen with the keyboard and trackpad turned off.
-I've got my Steam Deck sitting off to the side, just using the dock for charging, mostly.
But it gives me the option to plug things into it if I need to.
-The 50 inch TV in the back was my old monitor, but it died a few months back.
So... I use a hard mousepad to give myself a bit of room. Yes, I stack my keyboard over my laptop keys because they are so god-awful... unless you hit the dead-center of the key, it has a 50/50 chance on registering.
So when my desktop-ish went away due to my TV dying... This is what I did.
I used to have my laptop open where the nexdock was, and my 50 inch Hisense TV from 2016 was my screen. And my steam deck sat just behind my keyboard on it's dock. I even had a program that enabled me to use my keyboard and mouse from my desktop over on my Steam Deck, like it was a second screen! Neat stuff... I miss it.
