#5950x uncontrollable high temps reaching over 100C. Begging for help.

Tbh I say switch the cooler but if you kept running your cpu that hot for 2 years depending how often you use it can damage it but aswell change you fan config a couple times move the actual pc (no carpets cupboards) also depending where you live can affect like if you were in the middle east it would run quite hot and there is not much you can do or you live in a place like Canada it can be quite cold currently so if your heating is really high that can affect to. There are so many facts if changing cooler doesn't do anything I would either sell it or go to a specialist let me know if that helps

I think 85 ish under load is normal for 5950x, but it still spikes way to fast and way to high for any cooling to handle it. I live in China, but there s air-con, so the room isnt even that hot. The case and the place itself is well ventilated as well. I'd even say that the temps outside of the case do not affect the cpu temps at all
