Got a M.2 NVME SSD about a year ago ish, and have been having issues with it now. Randomly, my PC hits a BSOD (it flashes up and i can't even read the code of the error quick enough) and then reboots and doesn't detect my M.2 SSD as a drive at all and prompts me to "insert a boot drive", even though my SSD is alr there. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this? is it possible it's just a software issue i.e a corrupted file of some sort or is this more likely to a be a hardware issue with the actual SSD?
#M.2 SSD isn't functioning properly ?

what ssd do you have?
it's an XPG one
256 GB
its the rgb one if you can look it up for more info if you need (please dont judge me my prev non rgb ssd died and it was the only one available at the store in person)
xpg spectrix?
have a similar problem with an old samsung 960 nvme drive.
the system would try to power it down and the drive would just disconnect.
ended up turning off all the pcie power management stuff in the uefi bios to stop the behavior.
