After I updated the BIOS/changed the CPU ( from F1 to F60 BIOS) the RAM shows up like this in the Task Manager and CPU-Z (why is it 8 in one and 16 in the other program). I have 2x8 3200mhz don't know if XMP is even working even though I enabled it in the BIOS. I don't know if its a visual bug or something is broken, how do I proceed ? Would updating the BIOS to a even newer version even fix it ?

if you're not on the latest stable release of the BIOS, you should do that. just out of curiosity, why would you update the bios to not the latest version?

which CPU did you have, and what did you switch to? it sounds like it could be poorly seated CPU or RAM so if the BIOS update doesn't work try making sure your DIMM slots, contact pins and socket are clean and properly seated.

BIOS should always be on the latest version for driver stability
