#upgraded ram but pc crashes.

supports DDR4 memory at 3200mhz
meaning, you keep getting blue screen when entering windows because you set the ram speed faster than the cpu can handle
so, set your frequency to 3200 and you won't experience the crashes anymore
@raven crypt OR you could just return the new ram and keep using the old one until you get the "new" ram but at a lower frequency so you save some money]
that's my recommendation
That’s unfortunate. I guess I’ll switch to the 3200mhz version of the ram.
Thank you.
I just overclocked the ram from 1.2v to 1.38v.
Would that help?
I found a post on Reddit saying it worked.
i would not
dude, to be honest, it isnt' really that much different between 3200 and 3600 lol
like i said, i would return the "new" ram and get a cheaper one of the same kind for the lower frequency
save you some money
Alright. I guess I’ll stick to 3200mhz. Thank you.
yep
make sure you look at the information regarding your cpu when pairing it with different products
Yeah. Didn’t really know cpu had a play when it come to ram speed.
my 12700k only suppports 3200mhz ddr4 and up to 4800mhz ddr5 lol
