Yep. If you installed linux mint over the windows partition, then windows was erased. Does the system post, and do you have the option to select a boot device? Your hard drive that you installed linux mint on should show up there.

As fenris stated you probably overwritten the partition where your windows is in

Did you check if the partition is there ? In linux mint?
Basically when you want to change your os or create a dualboot you want to use or seperate harddrives for each OS or seperate partitions since Linux uses ext4 partitions and windows uses ntfs as partition each with their ups and downs
